Costco 20% off Sets!
Costco is one of the most awesome places to find sets because they are typically 20% off and they are normally pretty new sets! I went by the local Costco today and they had a ton of great sets which I have posted below!
Lego Advent Calendars (Marvel, Starwars, and Harry Potter) - $35
If you want to get into the advent calendar game then Costco is by far the best place to do it. I made the mistake a few years back to preorder mine through lego.com and then found out that every year, Costco has them for at least $10 cheaper. I usually pick up at least 2 different sets so that I can extend my holiday cheer and start 48 days before Christmas cause I am one of those crazy Christmas lovers. This year my favorite ones are the Marvel calendar and the Harry Potter Calendar. I felt like the Star Wars one was a little bit weaker but definitely still has its bright spots. Go pick up one or more of these for yourself or your kids. It will just add to your holiday cheer!
Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle (75362) - $65
The normal price for this set is $80! It’s a pretty cool set that comes with 4 minifigs. Ahsoka, Sabine Wrenn, Huyang, and Marrok. I don’t know that we will see Marrok in many other sets after this one so it would be a great set to hold onto for that minifigure alone. The shuttle itself is pretty rad and the only complaint that I have really heard about it is that on the bottom side of the wings there isn’t any detail to try to match the top side which is tacky when the wings are vertical.
The Battle of Hogwarts (76415) - $65
This set also retails for $80 normally so another great deal on a pretty classic Harry Potter set. This set is also great primarily because of its minifigs. This set comes with Harry Potter, Voldemort, Molly Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, Neville Longbottom, and Scabior plus a Nagini figure. This set also has two wands that you can “connect” spell pieces to and make it look like they are blasting out of the wand. The castle part is honestly pretty forgettable to me but if you are collecting them to create the massive Hogwarts set then you’ll need this one and might as well get it 20% off!
Lego Dreamzzz Fantastical Tree House (71461) - $90
Normal price is $110. I haven’t spent much time diving into the LEGO Dreamzzz sets but from what I can see they are a pretty cool idea. I mean think about it… the options are limited only by what you can dream up which is pretty awesome. This set comes with 4 minifigs which are Mrs. Castillo, Izzie, Mateo, and the Night Hunter. Honestly, the Night Hunter minifig is super cool looking and I would want it for that guy alone. The treehouse build seems like it has some great elements in it but also seems like it is really busy almost too much so for me. This could be a really fun play set for your kids though and they may love how busy and colorful it is!
Lego City Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine (60379) - $90
Another normal $110 set for about $20 off. This set is awesome. It’s really one of my favorite lego city sets that I have seen recently. It comes with the sub, a cool little sunken ship that has sharks around it and some colorful coral and then some divers and a mech suit which is rad! You can put the minifigs inside the mech suit for their deep dives and fight off the sharks that are protecting the shipwreck. As a kid I got a similar set and it was one of my all time favorite sets!
Lego Minecraft The Crafting Box 4.0 (21249) - $60
For the Minecraft lego lovers, we have the crafting box 4.0 which features a couple of towers that have items like TNT, some animals and a few minifigs. The normal price is $80! The minifigs are Steve, Alex, a Zombie, a Creeper, cats and sheep. Although the box advertises the towers there are multiple model suggestions that it has so that you can change things up and set it up the way that you want! I never got into the Minecraft side of life so I am a little unfamiliar with these sets but hey, it’s on sale!
Lego Dreamzzz Stable of Dream Creatures (71459) - $60
Normally priced at $80 this Dreamzzz set is a little more my speed. It was some really colorful and cool elements to this stable and some buildable dream creatures. My personal favorite is the “Cat”cus (lolz). It has 4 minifigs which are Izzie, Zoey, Cooper, and Mrs. Castillo. some overlap on the minifigs for the two sets they have at Costco but overall I like this set a lot more than the treehouse. There are also a couple of different ways that you can build it that have different floral parts on the buildable deer and the stable.
Lego City Custom Car Garage (60389) - $45
The normal price is $60 for this set. I really like this one actually. It has a really cool feel to it and it nailed the garage feel where you can really spice up the cars. I love that they give you some different styling options so you can do exactly what you should do in a garage. Make cars even cooler! I love the color scheme of this set and the decals that are placed around the garage. It comes with 2 mechanic figures and 2 driver figures including one figure that has a wheelchair. Fun little way to be more inclusive!
Lego Friends Autumns Horse Stable (41745) - $45
My nieces really love these sets and I am highly considering picking this up to use as a future gift for one of them. What kid doesn’t think having a horse would be a dream come true? Well in this set you get 2 horses! I really like the log elements they use in the stable for the roof and the great little obstacle course items they have so that you can set up a fun play course for the horses. This set comes with two other minifigs who are the horse girls.
Lego Technic NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro (42153) - $40
This last set is for those technic car lovers. I have seen some pretty cool car collections where people are hanging them on the wall and making it look really nice. This would be a great addition to any of those collections and for a great deal! The normal price is $50 so you get a $10 discount which could be totally worth it. If you have been thinking about getting this set, now is the time!
