LEGO Ideas: 49 qualified for second 2023 review

We just got a look at some of the sets that have made it through the second review for the LEGOS idea. Here is the link to the entire list.

I saw quite a few that really made me excited and I wanted to share some of my initial thoughts on them!

Scooby Doo Mystery Machine

This one stood out to me as soon as it hit my screen. I love it. I specifically love the Mystery Machine. The dog collar is a nice touch but not something I am dying to have. The main thing here is definitely the Mystery Machine. This could be such a cool model set that would be great for casual collectors and car collectors!

Shrek and his swamp

I. Hate. This. Just please no.

Venice, Italy

I can see this being a really awesome build that could go really well with some of the modular buildings and provide some new culture. Especially if they utilize the river system that is known in Venice. It would look really amazing!

Greenhouse

A greenhouse like this is something that I didn’t know I needed.. but I this would be a 100% purchase for me. They could make this absolutely beautiful and do some great stuff with the different plant pieces.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Nostalgia to the max when I saw this thing pop up. It would be a hard pass for me but wow… I haven’t thought about this book for so long and this is way creative.

Landscape Photographer

If they made this so that it worked next to the A-frame cabin I would not hesitate to purchase this one. It would look so cool to have it work with that set but also be a stand-alone set with a cool car and some great nature builds.

Rose Apothecary

Yes. yes…. yes. yes. yes. yes. I want this. This is the one.

Toaster

At first glance, I thought this was really cool. And it is! But when I think about where this would fit in with the average collection I can’t really place it. I love the thought of doing more appliances but just not sure about a toaster. This would be a no for me.. but could see why people would like it.

Snowy Cabin

*heart eyes emoji. I like this idea a lot. It would be a cute winter piece to put out around Christmas. It could go next to a train set, part of the Christmas village sets or a stand-alone set out in the living room. I would buy this easily.

Summary

There are a ton of really great ideas and some…. not so great ones but I definitely think you should go check them out and get excited for what could be coming up! Thanks for reading through this!
